Mildura wedding photography with a fun couple. Josephine and Peter.
As soon as we started shooting this wedding we knew we were in for a great day . firstly with the boys, full of fun and happy to play along with both ourselves and the Video team. By the time we got to Josephine and the girls… well the picture above says it all.
After the formal part of Josephine and Peters wedding day, we hit the road for some location photography. First port of call was a vineyard. And while middle of the day sun in Sunraysia is always a challenge, we managed to keep our couple looking good and not covered in dust and dirt while getting a few photos as well.
Then it was off for a quick stroll down the local rail line. Luckily there were no trains. One of the advantages of living in an area with very few rail services.
Another very quick location change. An old industrial building, some reflected light, and some messing around with Peter and Josephine resulted in a beautiful set of wedding portraits in a spot you maynot associate with wedding photography.
You guessed it! Yet another location change. In fact this one was a fill in location. You see, we had planned another location amongst some beautiful large Jacaranda trees. Which of course were going to be in full flower. Unfortunately our trees mustn’t have got our memo. No flowers. Plenty of beautiful mauve flowers on our Jacaranda trees here at the studio but none on the trees at our location. Now what to do…. We have a booking at Ampelon Gardens but are a tad early. Instead of wasting valuable shooting time. We shot this set on the side of a road. One of which ended up as our album cover.
Every wedding needs at least one formal group photo. Tradition, and the mum’s demand it. We shot a couple of formal groups during the day. This one on the island at Ampelon Gardens.
And our last shot for you today. Again shot at Ampelon, this time over under the magnificent Plane Trees. Photographed into the sun and all flared out for a softer look. This set looks really nice in Josephine and Peter’s album.
