Perfect Autumn weather, fabulous outdoor locations and a great bridal party. What more could a wedding photographer want?
Melissa and Ben exchanged their wedding vows on the sweeping lawns of the Gol Gol Hotel, with the majestic Murray River as a backdrop. Later heading off to the Old Mildura Homestead, Woolshed for their reception. Which by the way was beautifully decorated for the occasion.

- I promised myself, no close veil portraits on the blog for a long time. What can I say, beautiful bride, great lighting in the hallway at home and bingo…. Another broken promise.

- Melissa with Lucy, flower girl and show stealer. Lucy and Ian had a rocky start to their relationship early in the week. But all worked out well when Lucy spotted the camera in Ian’s hand. Seems she is a little model in the making.

- Ben’s turn for some close up treatment. Shooting with a long lens wide open, allows us to concentrate on Ben as he poses for this semi casual portrait.

- We shot a series of Melissa and Ben walking across the lawns of Gol Gol Hotel, with the Murray River in the background. Made a great set of images, not sure yet which ones we’ll use, because there are so many of this set that looked really great,

- Nice bit of open shade, on a warm afternoon provided lovely soft light. We let Ben and Melissa create this pose.

- We wanted to create a bit of an environmental feel to this semi formal wedding portrait. Adding some of the old buildings helped create warmth to the shot. We’ll probably work this shot a bit if it makes the final cut, however it looks pretty good strait from the camera.
